48-Hour Bid Read, $1,500 | Verity Media Partners
— a marked-up proposal draft under a desk lamp
48-Hour Bid Read · $1,500

Get the bid read the way the buying committee will read it. Before it goes in.

You send the near-final proposal 3 business days before it is due. 2 business days later you have it back with the rewrites already in the document: the executive summary that leads with their problem, your differentiator moved into the first 200 words, proof attached to every claim, and the economics that show what you are worth instead of what you cost.

$1,500. 2 business days. Analyzed by Stephanie, not a junior. One client per bid.

The timing

Why the read happens before the bid, not after the loss.

Most proposals are written to be approved internally, not to be chosen externally. They open with history, list every capability, and hedge every claim. The people scoring them read the executive summary looking for their own problem, cannot find a reason to choose, and compare the number at the bottom.

A Bid Read fixes that in the document that is about to go in, while there is still time for it to matter. Nobody has to admit a loss, and the value shows up inside the bid the same week.

The deliverable

What comes back, inside your own file.

01

An executive summary that opens with the buyer's problem in the buyer's own terms, and puts your reason to be chosen in the first 200 words.

02

Every capability claim paired with a proof line, or flagged where you have none so you can decide what to do about it.

03

An economics passage that argues what you are worth, not only what you cost.

04

The structure and language mirrored to the buyer's own request, so the scorers can score it without hunting.

05

A one-page note: the 3 things the scorers will react to, and the follow-up to send within 48 hours of submission.

The rules

The rules, so there are no surprises.

Timing

The near-final draft is in our hands by 5 pm Central 3 business days before the bid is due. The read comes back within 2 business days, as tracked changes in an editable file. A draft that arrives later gets a yes or no within 2 hours of your note, at the same price, if a slot exists; otherwise the read moves to your next bid.

Conflicts and confidentiality

A live bid and its pricing are sensitive. Every read runs under a one-page confidentiality agreement that you read and sign before you pay or send anything. It is our promise to you and asks nothing of you, so there is nothing for your legal team to negotiate. Your materials are never published, never named, never shared, and never used as an example without your separate written permission. Your pricing stays yours; the read is about the narrative, and the rate tables can stay out of the file.

One client per bid. We never read for two companies competing for the same bid. If we are already on yours, we tell you before you pay.

The guarantee.

The analysis comes back with the rewrites already in your file, across the executive summary, your proof lines, the economics passage, and the structure. That is the work. The floor is this: if not one of those rewrites makes it into the bid you submit, tell us within 30 days of submitting it and we refund the $1,500 within 5 business days.

The Bid Desk

Read 3 a month, if bids are how you win.

Companies that bid 50 or more times a year usually have 3 live proposals a month that deserve a read. After your first Bid Read, ask about the Bid Desk: up to 3 reads a month, month to month, first in the queue. Contact us for more information.

Questions we get
Who else sees my materials?

No other person. Stephanie Chavez handles every analysis herself, and the agreement says so in writing. Like most firms, we use secure software to store and analyze files, including AI-assisted tools, and only tools barred from sharing your materials or training on them.

Is this an AI report?

No. Stephanie uses AI-assisted tools the way a good analyst uses a spreadsheet, to move through the documents faster and to check her own work. The judgment is hers. Every finding and every rewrite has been tested against what she has watched win and lose in rooms like yours, and nothing goes out without her name on it.
